HELLO!

Today card is a CASE from one I found on SCS that Cheri Franklin made.  I love all the layers it has.  This is a great masculine set to have.

First Open Sea

Hello!  Here is one of my first attempts at something different. I think it turned out pretty good.  Colors Night of  Navy, Cherry Cobbler, crumb cake and Whisper white.   I also used the new Bakers twine from the summer mini.  More samples with this soon.

Good morning!! Sorry to not post for a bit. It has been quite busy around here and we were away for a week at Disney. It was the first trip for my boys and they both loved it.  At ages 6 1/2 and 4 they loved the roller coasters.  I will be working on some MDS pages this week I will share when I am done. 

It is hard to believe, but it is that time of year again. The new catalog is right around the corner.

Spring is Blossoming

Hello! 
I often fall in love with a card that I just have to CASE and have to make it just like it.  Usually I end up changing something before the card is done.  This card was different. I had to make it exactly the same. The colors look soooo  fresh and good together.  OK with some minor changes.  I found this card in the demonstrators monthly magazine.   I used the seek peak Paisley Petals DSP and the four frames stamp set. 

Easter bunnies

Happy Easter a day late! We had a busy weekend with all kinds of Spring projects and Easter Celebrations.

My bunny is inspired by Lisa Young. She made an adorable snowman holding the gift. I was looking for a cute way to give a gift to an older child that doesn't do an Easter basket any more. So here is what I came up with.  I think they all turned out great.

 HI!  These 2 purses are great to hold a set of cards or a small gift. I used a template that I found on Angie Kennedy Juda's blogs a few years back.  I have used this pattern several times and every time it has turned out great.

Sweet Little Purse Gift card holder

HI!  This is one cute little purse  just big enough for a piece of chocolate or 2.  I used this one for a gift card for a friend of mine. It fits on an angle as you can see in the picture below.   I discovered  this idea at clearly inspired blogsopot. Thanks for sharing your great idea.  Do you want to make your own?  E-mail me and I will send you the directions. 

 I love making gift card holders.    If you have any good ideas that you want to share with me that would be great. I am always looking for a new way to make them. 

Pin wheel card

HI! today's card is one that I received from my mom for my birthday that was back in February.  I have finally taken a photo of it.  The spring colors are great,  certainly celery and so saffron on crumb cake card stock.
 If you have not tried SU  brads you need to add some to your next order. The brads are high quality thick metal that you don't find from other company's out there.  Stampin Up's brad collections can be found on Page 187 IBC and Glimmer brads can be found in the Occasion mini on page 31.
